Dry anaerobic biological fermentation technology refers to a process in which solid organic degradable materials are used as raw materials, and under the condition of no or almost no free flowing water (the total solid concentration TS reaches more than 20% or even 50%), the fermentation activity of organisms is used to decompose the raw materials in an anaerobic environment and produce methane gas. The essential difference between dry and wet anaerobic fermentation technology lies in the difference of total solid concentration value, that is, the huge difference of material moisture content. The key technical difficulties lie in the pretreatment of raw materials and the efficient and uniform mass transfer in the fermentation process. In the field of environmental protection and new energy, this method is a new efficient treatment method for the recycling of organic waste resources. In recent years has been more and more applications, has been widely recognized internationally.
